The East Coast of the United States is the section of land that runs along the Atlantic Ocean. This area is also known as the Eastern Seaboard, the Atlantic Coast, and the Atlantic Seaboard. The states that have shoreline on the East Coast are, from north to south, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Als Ostküste der Vereinigten Staaten (, Atlantic Seaboard, Eastern Seaboard, oder schlicht East Coast) bezeichnet man die Küste der Vereinigten Staaten zum offenen Atlantischen Ozean. Sie war der am frühesten von Europäern besiedelte Teil der späteren USA. Im Rahmen der Amerikanischen Revolution und des Amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieges erklärten am 4. Juli 1776 dort dreizehn britische Kolonien an der Ostküste ihre Loslösung von Großbritannien und ihr Recht, einen eigenen souveränen Staatenbund zu bilden (Declaration of Independence).
